The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced release of the 2020 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination results (SSCE) on Monday, November 2, 2020.
This was published in a tweet by the West African Examination Council on Sunday, November 1, 2020, on their official Twitter handle.
The post from the WAEC Twitter handle read, “This is to inform candidates that sat West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates, 2020 that the results of that exam will be released by WAEC Nigeria tomorrow, Monday, November 2, 2020, by 10.30 am’’.

To view the results, candidates are directed to visit the website of WAEC.
According to earlier media reports, the result initially delayed was due to unrests across the country, which WAEC affirmed to have affected some of their facilities and operations nationwide.
The council also announced extension of registration deadline for 2021 WASSCE private candidates to November 6.
“WASSCE for private candidates, 2020 second series. Further extension of registration period. Intending candidates should note that there has been a further extension of the registration period to Friday, November 6, 2020”.
