At the end of the year, it is time to recap the year in music. These were the ten most played songs on the Spotify platform, according to 2024 Spotify Wrapped.
This is the undisputed number-one hit of 2024. The lyrics of this funky pop song use a metaphor for the coffee drink to describe a feeling of energy, intensity, and addiction.
The lead single from Benson Boone’s debut album, ‘Fireworks and Rollerblades,’ takes the No. 2 spot. The ballad, co-written by Boone, Jack LaFrantz, and Evan Blair, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200.

Eighth place goes to the song by Canadian singer-songwriter Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, collaborating with the South Korean singer of the group Blackpink and the French-American actress and singer Lily Rose-Depp (photo).
The song written by Taylor Swift, Jack Antonoff, and Annie Clark made it to the ninth spot in this list. With synth-pop and industrial music sounds, it was released alongside her seventh studio album ‘FristLover’ in 2019 but became popular in 2023 as a result of ‘The Eras Tour’, which led to it being released as the fifth official single on ‘Lover’ in 2023.
Number 10 goes to this soft rock ballad, written and produced by both American performers with support from D’Mile and Andrew Watt. James Fauntleroy is also listed as the composer of this soulful track.
