Nigerian Afro-house singer Niniola is mourning the loss of her husband, Michael Ndika.
The music star shared the heartbreaking news through emotional posts on her Instagram page on Wednesday, expressing deep grief over his passing. In one of the posts, she wrote, “God took him,” while another simply read, “My husband died.”
Ndika was reportedly the Chief Executive Officer of NaijaReview, a media platform known for promoting Afro-house and contemporary African music.
Although details surrounding his death have not yet been made public, the singer’s emotional messages suggested the couple had been together for over a decade.
Known for keeping her personal life away from public attention, Niniola rarely spoke about her relationship publicly, making the news a surprise to many fans.
The award-winning singer gained fame after her appearance on Project Fame West Africa in 2013 and later achieved international recognition with hit songs such as “Maradona.”
